History
"After completing my studies I spent several months volunteering in the Greek refugee camps of Ritsona and Inofyta, where I worked with groups of young children on a daily basis. Having studied the social sciences, I felt the need to confront one of society's most pressing problem. On arrival I was very moved by the context in which I landed. It is after carrying out research and getting in touch with child experts abroad that I truly understood the importance of my time with them. I was told that a sound development at those ages is paramount, especially following what they have been through".
